Hey everyone,
For those of you who are following the whereabouts of The Hapa Project (www.thehapaproject.com/) book...
My friend just got an email from Kip. He's been in Japan for the past 5 weeks and the book comes out in the spring. That's all he wrote, unfortunately. He's not one for long email, that guy.
Anyway, I'll post an update if I hear one.

Re: Update on Kip Fulbeck's Hapa Project

I was wondering what happened with this. I love how the true diversity of Hapa identity comes thru. and yet how the similarities that bind us are also very evident in this project as well. I had thought the project had fallen by the wayside so I'm psyched to see it still growing.

Hello Hapa Supporters!
Here's an update on the book. We're in press now and the book will be in
stores in April ... we're very excited! Chronicle Books is doing a great
job.
Also, Kip has several solo gallery exhibitions scheduled for next year to
show the photos from The Hapa Project. We're definitely going to show in
San Francisco at Space 180 and in Los Angeles and Minneapolis as well ...
as soon as the dates and venues are finalized, I'll post it on the site and
send an announcement.
Finally, Kip and The Hapa Project will be featured on Pacific Fusion TV
this weekend. It's a funny interview and out-takes from a Hapa Shoot, and
includes images of some of the participants. Here are the showtimes:
